Villette Park on the northern shore of Lake Zug was laid out in the English style by Theodor Froebel in 1865 and is known for its rare trees. Leonhard Zeugheer's villa now houses a restaurant and cultural centre; the «Inseli» peninsula was built up with spoil from the construction of the railway.
