Install Zugora as an app
Zugora runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen like an app, without an app store. The emergency page then also works without internet.
iPhone and iPad
- Open zugora.ch in Safari.
- Tap «Share», the square with the arrow pointing up. Depending on the version, it is in the toolbar or behind the three dots «…».
- Choose «Add to Home Screen». If you cannot see it, scroll down the list.
- Tap «Add». Zugora now appears on your home screen.
From iOS 26, every page you add this way opens as a web app without the browser bar. iOS does not update an icon that has already been added; delete it and add Zugora again if the icon changes.
Android
- Open zugora.ch in Chrome.
- Tap the menu with the three dots at the top right.
- Choose «Install app» or «Add to Home screen».
Computer
- Chrome and Edge: click the install icon in the address bar or choose «Install Zugora» in the menu.
- Safari on a Mac: choose «Add to Dock» in the «File» menu.
What the app does
Zugora opens in its own window and fetches the latest version every time you open it. The emergency page and recently visited pages also work without internet. The app is free and needs no permissions.
