The Baroque Verenakapelle stands at the edge of the forest on the Zugerberg on the Blasenbergstrasse, on the old mountain path to Ägeri. It was built from 1705 to 1710 on a cross plan with a dome; the plans are probably by the Einsiedeln monastery architect Caspar Moosbrugger.
