Near Schornen in the municipality of Sattel stands the Letziturm, about 11 metres high, part of a medieval valley barrier at the passage from Lake Aegeri into central Switzerland. For the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Morgarten, an information centre was set up at the foot of the tower; the battle chapel stands next to it.
