On the Gubel (909 m above sea level) stands the Capuchin convent of Maria Hilf, built from 1843 to 1847 and home to Capuchin nuns since 1851. The pilgrimage chapel commemorates the battle on the Gubel of 24 October 1531; next to the neighbouring inn there is a viewpoint over the Zug countryside.
