Kapuzinerturm tower

Built in 1526, the tower formed the north-east corner of the town fortifications of Zug; it takes its present name from the nearby Capuchin monastery. It carries a clock with a large dial. Since 1945 a small peace bell has rung here every 8 May to commemorate the end of the Second World War.
