The Gottschalkenberg (1186 m above sea level) lies in the south-east corner of the municipality of Menzingen above Lake Aegeri. From the Bellevue viewpoint the view extends over the Lake Zurich region to the Glarus Alps; there has been an inn here since at least 1886.
